One of my struggles as a Product Marketer (working for a CPaaS platform) has been how to communicate to your existing customers about a new feature launch, is a message trigger within the dashboard enough or should we work with the sales team to come up with a demo video that communicates the value proposition of the feature? Any thoughts on how to make the process more effective?

Hi Sneha!

It all depends how big is the feature. 

For smaller ones, just in-product notification is OK.

For bigger feature updates, change managements, new product releases, etc. we usually did a cadence of communication - email announcement, webinar when needed, how to guides and finishing with in-product communication.
